Choosing your first yo-yo is pivotal in your yo-yo journey. It is essential to have the right yo-yo for you from the beginning. YoYoFactory teaches yo-yoing all over the world and have developed models that work easily with new yo-yoers. All of the yo-yos in this category are “responsive” yo-yos (they spin at the end of the string, but return with a simple upward pull of your hand). Responsive yo-yos are crucial for learning the basics of modern yo-yoing correctly.

We highly recommend to include a pack of spare strings with your yo-yo. Strings wear out over time while you perform tricks. Changing your strings occasionally ensures the yo-yo to work well.
